ABOUT DESIGN
-Arita Ondo Tyrorin Bushi-
This song was created to commemorate the 350th anniversary of Arita ware, which was made in 1967.
During the Okunchi festival, the people of Arita hold small plates between their fingers, making a clicking sound as they parade through the town to the tune of this song. This soul song of the people of Arita was commissioned to one of Japan's leading songwriters, Hibari Misora, and is sung by her.
Japanese music and dance that are deeply rooted in Arita have been arranged in a street fashion style.
